                                                 What does "sing-einfach" mean?
I picked this name for my website because of its double meaning in German: "just-sing" and "sing-easily". During my lessons, I often say to my students, "Just sing! Don't think so much. Relax!!" It is so important that singing is easy (einfach). Singing shouldn't cause any strain! Being relaxed while singing is of great importance. Only then, you'll be able to convey feeling and your own personality.
                                                 Which teaching methods do I use?
My own! I am convinced that there isn't "the" formula that will work with everyone. Since every person is unique and has his/her own distinctive voice, it is important that the voice lesson addresses his/her specific needs. Therefore, my lessons are customized and adapted to fit each individual student. That's the only way to see fast results.
                                                 How can you profit from my lessons?
Since people don't rush to the music store to buy the latest CD of their favorite singers, simply because they sing "technically correct", I will teach you how to touch people with your voice.
BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT MATTERS!
Don't get me wrong. The correct technique is very important, but it is a servant of your passion and not the other way around. Your listeners want you to move them. They want those goosebumps when they hear you sing. I will show you how YOU decide on the way you want to sound.
                                                What will I teach you?
  • You'll finally get to know your natural voice
  • Your voice will no longer dictate which songs you can or cannot sing. YOU are the one to
     decide how you want to sound, what you want to get across, and which timbre to use
  • You'll stand your ground when singing in a group

I sure do!!
I am very glad that I used to be on the road as a musician. I was part of the best band in the world ;-) and had tons of fun. Without this experience I wouldn't be where I am today. In this process, I discovered my true passion: helping people to love singing as much as I do and to sound good while doing so. I love these moments when my students hear themselves sing in a way that they never did before. These moments are priceless and so much fun!
